In his role as a board member, he was responsible for the areas of human resources, organisation and IT infrastructure, among others. In addition, as a "passionate consultant", he was still actively involved in customer projects until his retirement. Together with Joachim Raczek, Günther Jakobi founded syracom consulting AG in 2000, which at that time was the business consulting arm of the syracom group.
"Günther Jakobi has made a significant contribution to the success of syracom since he joined the company in 2000 - from a then five-man company with an annual turnover of 500 thousand euros, to a company with 180 employees and an annual turnover of almost 21 million euros," says Joachim Raczek, founder and CEO of syracom AG. "He was the partner I could always rely on. In addition to his competence and profound knowledge, he distinguished himself through his empathy and an admirable down-to-earthness. People were always at the centre of his attention."
We would like to thank Günther Jakobi for the more than two decades in which he decisively shaped the company and wish him all the best on his journey on the seven seas.
However, the syracom veteran will continue to be closely associated with the consulting firm in the future. On 12.01.2022 he was elected to the supervisory board of syracom AG. In this position, he will continue to actively accompany and support the future development of the company.
