We actively work to ensure that corporate governance is characterised by transparency and accountability. In doing so, we rely internally as well as externally on the established values and principles.
As a German company, we comply with nationally applicable legal provisions and reject any kind of corruption and bribery in the sense of the corresponding UN Convention (United Nations Convention against Corruption of 2003, in force since 2005).
In our cooperation with partners and suppliers who, among other things, operate outside Germany, we ensure that they comply with applicable laws and other legal provisions of the countries in which they operate. In countries with weak institutional frameworks, our partners and suppliers should use good corporate practice from their own home country for responsible corporate governance.
In dealing with external stakeholders as well as its own employees, syracom is guided by universally valid ethical values and principles. This concerns righteousness, respect for human dignity, openness and equal treatment of people regardless of their religion, world view, gender and ethnicity.
We promote transparency, acting with integrity coupled with responsible management and control in the company. In doing so, we pursue clean and recognised business practices and fair competition.
syracom communicates its values and corporate guidelines in an open and dialogue-oriented manner. Information is transparent and provided in a timely manner to employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
All documents and records are dutifully prepared, not unfairly altered or destroyed, and properly stored. Trade secrets and business information of partners are treated sensitively and confidentially.
syracom is committed to the promotion of human rights. We uphold human rights in accordance with the UN Human Rights Charter (Universal Declaration of Human Rights, UN Resolution 217 A (III) of 1948).
Of particular value in dealing with our employees are the following principles:
syracom complies with the following core labour standards of the ILO (International Labour Organization):
We act in an environmentally conscious manner at all locations and take into account the applicable standards of environmental protection. In doing so, syracom deals responsibly with natural resources in accordance with the principles of the Rio Declaration (The 27 principles of the "Rio Declaration on Environment and Development" of 1992 as a result of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro). Furthermore, we determine and compensate our CO2 emissions annually. See syracom climate projects and Blue Planet certificate from Naturfund.
syracom contributes to the social and economic development of the country and region in which it operates and promotes corresponding voluntary activities by its employees.
