As an cross-organizational management discipline aiming at continuously align business and IT, Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) undertakes two general tasks: description and definition of the current and future Enterprise Architecture (EA) as well as its subsequent transformation. Thereby, an EA comprises elements, properties, and relationships found in the business but also the IT departments of an organisation.
Our consultants possess substantial project experience and skills paired with outstanding EAM know-how. For our work, we make use of (domain-specific) reference approaches like TOGAF® or ArchiMate in addition to our lightweight and goal-oriented framework SEAM. In doing so, we are able to deliver customer-specific solutions tailored to your goals, in time and on budget.

Profound knowledge in EAM More than a dozen EA(M) frameworks claim to effectively and efficiently support an organization in solving different architectural questions. However, when using these (partly very bulky and text-heavy) approaches much time and effort is needed to come to grips with the framework rather than concentrating on the definition of the problem and its solution.more on thisless
The EAM-Framework of Syracom is based on many years of experience in context of EAM. We conciously have integrated parts of other frameworks which are sucessfully tried and tested during project work. Examples are techniques suchz as the Architecture Development Method TOGAF® and ArchiMate®-Notation.
Main features of SEAM:
Since 2003, SEAM has been successfully applied in industry. In the course of many projects, the light-weight, tool-independent, and industry-neutral framework has supported Syracom in achieving the previously defined EAM goals of our customers. Alternative approaches like TOGAF® can be easily and intuitively integrated. Moreover, SEAM offers means to interface with other disciplines like strategy planning or project portfolio management. The framework is regularly enhanced with additional content, gained during finished projects but also from findings made in research and practice.
Your benefits
Based on our lightweight and goal-oriented framework SEAM, we are able to tackle your goals for EAM right away. Especially the logical and well-designed structure in combination with the practice-proven content sets this framework apart from alternative approaches while immediately easing the work of enterprise architects.
