We process the data that you provided to us in connection with your application to assess your suitability for the position (or, where appropriate, for other open positions in our company) and to conduct the application process.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in this application process is primarily § 26 GDPR in the version valid from 25.05.2018. According to that law, the processing of data which is necessary for establishing an employment relationship is permitted. If the data may be required for legal prosecution after completing the application process, processing of data can take place on the provisions of Art. 6 GDPR. This applies particularly for the exercise of legitimate interests under Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our interest then exists in the assertion or defense of claims.
In the case of rejection the data of applicants will be deleted after 4 months. In the event that you have consented to further storage of your personal data, we will transfer your data in our Talent-Pool. Once there, the data will be deleted after the expiration of two years. If you your application for a position was successful, the data from the applicant data system will be transferred to our personnel information system.
We use a specialized software provider for the application process. This provider acts as a service provider for us and may also gain insights in your personal data in connection with the maintenance and care of the systems. We have entered a so-called data processing agreement with this service provider, which ensures that the data processing takes place in a permissible manner. Your application data will be reviewed after the receipt of your application by the human resources department. Suitable applications will be internally forwarded to the technical responsible person / department who / which is responsible for the open position. The forwarding may also include the processing of your application data by syracom consulting AG and syracom Schweiz AG. According to Article 45, transmission of data to foreign bodies outside the EU / EEA is lawful if an adequate level of data protection is in place. According to the adequacy decision of the EU Commission (2000/518 / EC), a sufficient level of data protection is available. The further procedure will be coordinated then. In principle, persons who have access to your data shall only be those who need this access for the proper conduct of our application process.
The data are processed exclusively in data centres of the Federal Republic of Germany.
You have the right to be provided with information about your personal data processed by us. In case of an unwritten information request, we apologize for the inconvenience that we may demand a proof of personal identification. Furthermore, you have the right to rectification or deletion or restriction of processing as far as you are legally entitled. Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing within the scope of the legal provisions. The same applies to the right to data portability.
